INGENERIC presents new generation of E2C modules for collimation and symmetrization of single-mode laser diodes.

INGENERIC extends its product range of E2C modules (from Ellipse to Circle) for single-mode laser diodes. The modules transform the elliptical beam profile into a round one, achieving thus an increase in fiber-coupling efficiency of 50% compared to conventional aspherical solutions. The newest generation of modules is now available for a wavelength of 405 nm and 635 nm.

As a 5.6 mm package the modules are especially adapted to the Nichia diode NDHV310APC and Mitsubishi diode HL6362MG with TO can. On request a telescope can be integrated into the package, adjusting the beam diameter to the special needs of the application.

To guarantee the high circularizing quality the module consists of two aspherical lenses, fixed and aligned in a high-precision operation, in one monolithic module. This compact unit is integrated in a housing, in which a diode can easily be positioned and fixed. The compact outer dimensions of the module range from 40 mm down to 15 mm length and a diameter of 15 mm. On request the dimension and interface specification can be adapted to application specific needs.

Besides the above mentioned specifications the E2C-modules are available for different divergences and beam diameters.
