The new, Extra-High-Brightness class (XB) of fast-axis collimation optics manufactured by INGENERIC will open up new applications for our clients. The extremely high quality of the collimation - in the case of a FAC with an EFL of 900 µm and an NA of 0.8, for example, over 90 % of the output is collimated at an angle of +/- 0.8 mrad - permits applications with extremely exacting requirements in terms of efficiency and collimation quality, to be completed.
INGENERIC is setting new standards with the quality of the collimation. Even the Standard and High-Brightness specification for the FACs have considerably closer tolerance classes and therefore substantially better collimation characteristics than the market standard. "Our policy of continuous improvement in our optics design and in our manufacturing technology, have made us the Number 1 address for those seeking the best" reports Dr Stefan Hambücker, clearly appreciative of the objective recognition on the part of customers.
The INGENERIC FAC built to the Extra-High-Brightness specification, can be supplied, on request, along with an SAC as an integrated collimation module (C-Module). This facilitates assembly. INGENERIC also offers pre-assembled optics on support structures with an adhesive stopper or as integrated assembly surfaces with a shoulder.
In addition to the standard specification, INGENERIC also develops and supplies customized FACs, which are adapted to meet the requirements of the application for which they are intended.
